The American Legion needs your help in ending veteran suicide.
Dude Wow is proud to partner with the American Legion and their impactful BE THE ONE Initiative to support veterans in crisis and raise awareness around this critical issue. A portion of our proceeds will go directly to the American Legion to help fund BE THE ONE's mission.
It’s essential to recognize that suicide stands as the No. 1 issue facing the veteran community, according to the National Veteran Suicide Prevention Annual Report. Each day, an estimated 17 to 22 veterans or servicemembers take their own lives—over 6,000 each year. This rate is more than 50% higher than that of non-veteran adults. As the Global War on Terrorism persists, the number of veterans struggling with mental health challenges, including post-traumatic stress disorder, continues to grow.
Our commitment is clear: to support those who have served our country and work together to bring hope and help to those in need.
